播州刃物の手鍛造糸切り
播州地方で作られたオリジナルの生地で包まれた播州刃物の箱に入っています。

このツールは、細かい部品や小さな部品の糸や生地を切るのに最適です。
兵庫県播州地方の大野市に住み、働く水池おさみさんは、鉄の棒と小さな鋼を手で鍛造して握り鋏を作ることができる日本で唯一のベテラン職人です。金型鋳造とは違い、職人の手で鍛造することにより、どんな大きさ・形の鋏も作ることができます。 2015年に寺崎賢志氏が技術継承のため弟子入りし、寺崎氏の指導にあたる。
刃には日本製の高炭素鋼を使用し、切れ味と耐摩耗性に優れています。はさみの中には、日立金属が製造する最高品質の鋼 (ヤスギ特殊鋼、または YSS) の一種である青紙 (青鋼) で作られており、他の鋼よりも強く、耐摩耗性に優れています。

播州刃物とは
播州刃物は、日本最古の鍛冶産業発祥の地である兵庫県播州地方で作られる刃物・鋏・包丁のブランドです。この産業は、国の産業の発展とともに成長し、需要を満たすためにさまざまなアイテムを生産してきました。また、この地域は、18 世紀の江戸時代にさかのぼる、最も古い家庭用品が商品化された地域としても知られています。鋏の種類が豊富なのも播州刃物ならではの特徴です。
当時播磨と呼ばれていた播州地方の鍛冶産業は、早くも16世紀に始まったと言われています。 1532 年には、この地域で千種鋼と呼ばれる鋼が開発されました。千草鋼は後に玉鋼になりました。これは、刀や日本刀を作るために使用されることで有名な鋼の一種です.はがね（刃物に使われる鋼）を作る技術は、播州地方から日本各地に広まりました。これらの他の地域のいくつかは、今日でもブレードを作ることで知られています.
播州刃物は熟練の職人がひとつひとつ丁寧に手作りしています。定期的に研ぐことで、長くご愛用いただけます。
