A Note to Our U.S. Customers — Price and Shipping Update

Dear friends,

We want to let you know — honestly and transparently — that we’ve made a necessary price adjustment for U.S. customers, starting today.

This is not an easy message for us to write, because we’ve always tried our best to keep prices fair and absorb behind-the-scenes costs ourselves. But recently, some big changes have been made to how the U.S. handles imports from Japan:

* A 15% import duty is now applied to all shipments, regardless of order value 

* New customs clearance fees have been introduced by shipping carriers 

* And international shipping costs continue to rise

We held off making changes for as long as we could, but it has now become too much for our small business to carry alone.

This update is not about increasing our profit — it’s about staying sustainable so we can continue to share the textiles you love in a reliable and transparent way.

The good news:
We’re bringing back Free Shipping, now for U.S. orders over $140 USD — starting today!

And we’ll continue to ship all U.S. orders via FedEx with Delivery Duties Paid (DDP) — so you’ll still never have to pay anything extra when your package arrives.
